Crisp, dry with ripe apple, lemon, apricot and peach.  Fresh, soft and quite full bodied for a Crémant, with a gentle sparkle.  Dangerously drinkable it holds its own against Champagne!

One of the top traditional method sparkling wines from the mighty Gratien & Meyer house, based in the Loire valley of cool Northern France, around Saumur.  Made with some typical regional varieties (Cabernet Franc – red grape, Chenin Blanc) with an unusually high percentage of Chardonnay for the area.
