From a long-established family winery, with vineyards in Sicily’s fertile rolling hills.  Nerello Mascalese is native here, and best known for fragrant red wines from the slopes of Mount Etna.

So this one doesn’t look like a regular rosé at all – I mean look at that deep pink!  But it is dry!!  Smelling it, I got a sense of a wine that would be full of juicy ripe fruit, and then tasting it I got watermelon (others tasted strawberries and blossom), also something slightly bubble gummy but delicious!  Then a slightly – and pleasantly – burnt fruit finish.
