Golden yellow, unoaked with intense fruit; vibrant citrus (lemon and mandarin), then apple before a lightly spiced finish.

Grapes are from 30+ year old vines, grown on clay/ limestone at over 500m altitude - high for Rioja - giving great fruit concentration, and flavour development.  As well as altitude, Rioja Alta has rivers which also cool the temperatures, helping keep freshness in the wines.
